The 5 Rarest Tanorians In Tales Of Tanorio
The following are the 5 trickiest Tanorians to track down. Note that this list isn’t factoring in Shiny or Alpha Tanorians, both of which are also incredibly rare.
#5 – Climitten
Climitten isn’t rare in the traditional sense, but it is tied to a particular Weather condition, which makes it harder to find than most. You can encounter Climitten anywhere in the world while it’s either Windy or Rainy. The encounter rate during these periods is reasonable, but it can be tricky to reliably encounter them. You can’t control the Weather, after all.
#4 – Astaroid
Like Climitten, Astaroid only appears under a certain Weather condition, in this case Shooting Stars. While this is active, you can encounter Astaroid anywhere in the world, but at a very low rate, roughly 1 in 70. While this isn’t as low as some Tanorians, the extra Weather requirement makes it tricky to catch reliably.
#3 – Cornica
Cornica is a Cosmic type Tanorian found exclusively at Fable Falls. Its encounter rate is a measly 1%, so expect to run into it after around 100 battles. Cornica eventually evolves into the mighty Cosmic/Fire type Copernica, so it’s well worth the effort to capture.
#2 – Fordrake
Fordrake is a dual Dragon/Metal type Tanorian. You can only find it in The Mine Depths, where it appears in 1% of encounters. This makes it just as rare as Cornica, but The Mine Depths appears later on in the game than Fable Falls, so Fordrake is rarer based on that. Fordrake doesn’t evolve, but its premium stats and excellent defensive typing make it a top-tier Tanorian regardless.
#1 – Flowither
Currently the only Legendary Tanorian in the game, Flowither has a unique capture process associated with it. After defeating a Boss version of Flowither at Kaigan Cliffs, it can appear in random encounters anywhere in the world. The catch is that you only have a 1 in 1,000 chance of running into it. This makes Flowither ten times rarer than Fordrake or Cornica. It also means you have to be constantly prepared, since you never know when it’ll show up.
