Best Armor Recipes In The Forge – Guide FAQ
If there’s anything you’re not sure of, this FAQ might clear it up. We’ve gone over anything we tihnk you’d want to know. If there’s anything else, maybe drop the question in the comments and we might try to tackle it here.
How Did We Decide What Makes The Best Armor?
How did we decide on the recipes? We looked for a few things.
- How high the Multiplier is.
- How good the Traits the armor gets from the ores.
- If you can craft it relatively early in the game.
We try to balance all these out when we’re putting recipes together. It is possible to make similar equipment with different ratios if you’re willing to potentially take a hit to either the Multiplier or the Trait strength.
How Did We Come Up With The Numbers?
We checked most of our ore numbers and the buff percentages using Forge Calculator, which is a great, free little tool to help you find out your chances, multipliers, and buffs from a particular combination of ores.
What About Weapon Recipes?
We can help you there!
We also have a guide on the best weapon recipes in The Forge. We’re continually updating it, too, so more recipes should appear over time.
Are These All The Recipes?
Not quite! We’re still looking at different combinations and figuring out good combos with the ores we have, and there are more ores on the way, expect some updates to the guide regularly as we come up with some new recipes and run the numbers properly.
