S-TIER
This top tier is reserved for the best Pickaxes in the game, with high Mining Power, Luck, and all three Rune Slots available. They’re leagues above the rest, being the best tools for the job.
- Demonic Pickaxe
- Mine Power: 180
- Luck Boost: +51%
- Rune Slots: 3
- Magma Pickaxe
- Mine Power: 135
- Luck Boost: +46%
- Rune Slots: 2
- Arcane Pickaxe
- Mine Power: 75
- Luck Boost: 100%
- Rune Slots: 3
- Lightite Pickaxe
- Mine Power: 100
- Mine Speed: +30%
- Luck Boost: +45%

- Mythril Pickaxe
- Mine Power: 80
- Luck Boost: 43%

A-TIER
Secondary to the top, these Pickaxes are great alternatives to the top tier. They shy away from the top tier due to having decent, but lesser Power, Luck, or not all Rune Slots available. That said, they’re still good to use if you can’t afford the S-Tier Pickaxes or don’t prefer them.

Settling into the middle tier, these average Pickaxes are decent and nestle their way into the bridging gap between earlier and later game content. They’re much better than the early-game choices, having higher stats and being the first to include Rune Slots, but they have a long way to go to be considered good.

Not the worst, but also quite lacklustre. These low-tier Pickaxes will likely be your first purchases to escape the starter tool. There isn’t much notable about their performance.
