You might have saved Bikini Bottom in the first challenge of The Hunt Mega Edition, but are you ready to go deeper? That’s what we’re about to do as we go over how to unlock the The Hunt Spongebob Tower Defense Mega Token. Get ready for a major undersea voyage.

The Hunt Spongebob Tower Defense Mega Token Guide
The Regular Token
Getting the regular Token is pretty straightforward. Complete the special The Hunt round, set in Bikini Bottom, it’s 15 waves long, and you have a preset selection of pretty powerful units to play with, so as long as you’re paying attention and using your upgrade funds, you should get through it no problem.
While you’re on the event map, you might notice a few peculiar bumps on the ground marked with an X. Well, that’s the start of finding the Mega Token. Let’s explain further.
Digging For Treasure
In the first section of finding the Mega Token, you need to find a treasure map hidden somewhere on the event map. It’s buried under an X, so you need to dig up all the Xs you can find. Most won’t give you anything, but one should give you a treasure map that appears to show the Flying Dutchman’s ship in the Trading Hub, so head over there.
Trading Hub
Once in the hub, speak to the Flying Dutchman. You won’t be able to speak to him unless you’ve already found the treasure map. He’ll tell you you need his own map, but that’s hidden in his study. Fortunately, there’s a way in. Once you’ve talked to him, you should find you can drop through the hatch in the middle of the ship. There’s a locked door there, and you can find a key hidden in the barrels somewhere in the room. Once you find the key, head through the strange doors.
The Maze
Passing through the doors should drop you in a large maze. Between the many paths and the odd mist, it’s easy to get lost. Just use the old trick of following the left wall until it leads you to a green door, then head through it.
Flying Dutchman TD Round
You’ll surface in the Captain’s Study, next to the map, just in time for fish skeletons to break down the door and try to steal the map for themselves. Tower defense time! What follows is a harder, 20-wave round where you need to defend the map. Once again you should have some fairly good units at your disposal. We found Man Ray was without a doubt our MVP through the round.
Once it’s over, the Flying Dutchman congratulates you, and allows you to take a look at the map. Teleport back to the Trading Hub, and head into a newly-opened room under the Flying Dutchman to ready the map, which points to a cave.
Uncharted Cave
Once again, head back to the event map. On the map, you should find a small cave with a jellyfish floating outside. Walk over to it to go inside. You’ll find yourself in Uncharted Cave. Follow the cave down to the bottom, where you should see a gold plate facing a big door, with two Spongebob statues either side.
Stand on the plate and hit an emote. It’s probably not a specific one. We just tried the wave emote and it worked out fine. The door should open and show you Davy Jones’ Locker. Yeah, it’s a locker. Inside, the first Mega Token of The Mega Edtion! Congrats!
