Tycoon RNG thrives when players pass their compact cubes of miscellaneous ores through equipment to sell. This Tycoon RNG Negative Guide focuses on the Negatvie equipment including processors, droppers, traits and upgrades to tell you what Negative means and if it’s safe to use in your Tycoon!

Tycoon RNG Negative Guide
As you roll for new droppers and upgrade equipment you’ll have a slim chance of receiving Overclocked, Golden and Negative items. Despite the name, the Negative equipment tends to be the most rewarding. That said, not every equipment piece includes all three variants (Overclocked, Golden and Negative).
Overall, to upgrade your Tycoon you should be keeping a close eye on what each new item provides to maximise your gains. Just because an equipment piece is Negatvie, doesn’t mean it’ll be stronger than an Overclocked or Golden piece with a higher rarity.
That said, in some unusual instances, you might roll for a dropper or upgrade which has a dual or triple-typing. These equipment pieces tend to be better than Negative, but again isn’t an every-case scenario.
Current Best Negative Equipment In Tycoon RNG
The strongest Negative equipment in the game currently is the 1 in 7.90 Billion chance Overclocked Negative Golden Electrical Annihilation which as expected, offers some insane properties:
- Multiplier: 2.36 KX
- Will destroy ores if they’re on Fire
- Purges 20% of ores travelling through
- Adds Magnetic trait to ores which survive passing through
- Adds a 2.5x Multiplier if the ore also carries the Acidic trait
Due to the properties of this equipment, if you’re lucky enough to roll for it be sure to place it in a decent spot and remove any upgraders or droppers which add the fire trait to ores. To maximise it, place droppers or upgrades which make ores acidic before they pass through the Overclocked Negative Golden Electrical Annihilation device.
