This Type Soul Essences Tier List ranks every Essence from best to worst, including a small brief on what an Essence is!
Essences are a drop from Clan Wars and Ranked 2v2s. These unique drops offer new move sets to players with some being faction-specific, whilst others are universal. If you have an existing Essence you wish to swap for a better one, you can use a Blue Pill/Blue Elixir to remove it.

S-Tier
The best of the best! These Essences are OP and infused with strength, versatility and power. You can’t go wrong with one of these.
- Black Flash – All Factions
- Thousand Deaths – All Factions
- Partial Essence – Arrancar Exclusive
- Raging Reiatsu – Soul Reaper Exclusive
- Shattered Comet – Quincy Exclusive
A-Tier
Great alternatives if you can’t access those in the S-Tier, or don’t meet the race requirements. These Essences are strong, just not the best.
- Horizon Core – All Factions
- Territorial Mark – All Factions
- Bala Fireworks – Arrancar Exclusive
- Gran Raikoho – Soul Reaper Exclusive
- Teppusatsu – Soul Reaper Exclusive
B-Tier
Average Essences. These ones offer some cool usage and aren’t exceptionally good or bad. They’re the blueprint definition of mid.
- Unseen Blade – All Factions
- Crazed Blitz – All Factions
- Fusion Essence – Arrancar Exclusive
C-Tier
Weaker Essences. I personally wouldn’t waste my time with these, but they do have some niche uses if you want to give them a go.
- There are currently no C-Tier Essences.
D-Tier
These Essences are infused with lameness. I would not recommend using them in combat.
- There are currently no D-Tier Essences. At least all of your options are better than the worst!
