What in Hell is Bad Artifacts – How to Evolve Them

What in Hell is Bad official artwork.

Just what in the heck are What in Hell is Bad artifacts? If you’ve found yourself asking that question, you are in the right place. In this guide, I’m going to detail exactly what artifacts are and how you can evolve them. I’ll update this guide if anything changes, so I recommend that you bookmark it and check back often.

What in Hell is Bad is a gacha RPG that sees you venturing into Hell itself to recruit demons to save you from a pickle. You see, you’re the descendant of Solomon, and Heaven is sending its angels to murder you. Hell can’t have that, so you recruit the likes of Satan, Lucifer, Beelzebub, and Mamon to help you fight them back. It’s a bit of a visual novel, so you can get to know the different characters between fights.

You can grab What in Hell is Bad from Google Play. We’ve also got What in Hell is Bad Beelzebub, What in Hell is Bad Paimon, and What in Hell is Bad Lucifer.

What in Hell is Bad Artifacts

Now, let’s take a look at everything you need to know about artifacts in What in Hell is Bad.

What Are Artifacts?

Artifacts are an equippable item in What in Hell is Bad that boost your character’s stats. They come in a variety of different classes, which determines their core strength, and you can enhance them to boost their power.

As an example, Beelzebub has an artifact that provides the following benefit:

  • Each time the wearer defeats an enemy in a battle, the wearer’s ATK SPD increases by 4% (max 20%)

The stats in this will grow as you enhance the artifact. The max ATK SPD may increase, or the cap.

Artifacts are either exclusive to a specific character, or available to all.

How to Level Up an Artifact

To level up an artifact, you need to ‘enhance it’. To do so, click on the artifact, then enhance, then feed your unwanted artifacts and hit ‘Enhance’. This costs gold, but will boost the stats of the artifact.

How to Evolve an Artifact

You can evolve an artifact once it hits level 15. To evolve it, you need a duplicate of the exact same artifact. With that in mind, I’d save any S rank artifacts you come across, just in case.

To evolve an artifact, tap on it, hit ‘Evolve’, then select the duplicate artifact. This one doesn’t have to be level 15 as well. Hit ‘Evolve’ to, well, evolve it. Again, this costs gold.

Why Should I Evolve an Artifact?

Evolving an artifact increases the level cap, allowing you to boost it further. This increases the stat bonus the artifact provides, and the skill alongside it.
