What Is The Best Rod In Fisch

Each Rod has its unique uses, and the ‘best’ is always a subjective term. That said, based on some stats and majority preference, I’m able to tell you what I think the best rod in the game is with a few runner-ups!

Best Rod In Fisch – Seraphic Rod

Obtained by reaching level 1,000, the Seraphic is the new meta. This ethereal tool has some of the strongest and most balanced stats in Fisch, with no real weaknesses and comes paired with an overpowered passive.

The Seraphic Rod passive works similarly to the Voyager’s Rod Orbital Canon. During the catch minigame, the progress bar will boost by 50%, securing catches faster and easier. This boost was 99%, but since it provided instant catches, bypassing negative progress speeds, it was nerfed.

However, even at 50%, this is still an impressive buff. Alongside its massive Control bar and generous stats, it’s truly the best end-game rod, making easy work of even the Ancient Kraken…

  • Lure Speed: 95%
  • Luck Boost: 150%
  • Control: 0.3
  • Resilience: 20%
  • Max KG: Infinite

Runner-Up Rod – Poseidons Rod

Or, if you don’t have the mental strength to grind to level 1,000, why not settle for second best? The Poseidon’s Rod has a fickle obtainment requiring 6 sharks (including an Ancient Megalodon), and a hefty price tag costing 1,555,555 C$.

But, to make up for it, it’s an excellent money-making rod that wedges nicely into the end-game rankings as a meta option, and is probably the best rod within Atlantis.

  • Lure Speed: 50%
  • Luck Boost: 165%
  • Control: 0.2
  • Resilience: 40%
  • Max KG: 100,000

As for passives, the rod comes pre-loaded with a 25% chance to bless caught fish by increasing their value by +75% of their base price. It also has a 5% chance to summon a ghost of Poseidon who strikes lightning unto catches, increasing their weight by 75-150%.
