What’s The Best Prismatic Crop In Grow A Garden?
The Contenders
Prismatic is the current highest rarity crop type available via the Seed Shop in Grow A Garden. There are higher rarities, like Transcendent, but they are generally event-locked fruit or part of gacha-type seed packs.
The current Prismatic crops are:
- Beanstalk
- Burning Bud
- Elephant Ears
- Giant Pinecone
- Ember Lily
- Sugar Apple
The Best Prismatic Crop – Sugar Apple
In our opinion, the Sugar Apple is the best Prismatic crop available. This crop is available through the Seed Shop, though very infrequently. (We’d recommend using a stock notifier if you want to get Sugar Apple plants.)
Here are why we feel Sugar Apple deserves the crown.
- Seed Shop Crop – Unlike the Elephant Ears, the Sugar Apple is a Seed Shop crop, so you can get hold of it now, if you’re able to catch a restock if it. This makes it more reliable to get plenty to plant.
- High Sale Value – Sugar Apples have a high base value, even better if they attract mutations.
- Multiple Fruit – Unlike the Ember Lily or Burning Blossom, the Sugar Apple has a large number of fruit on one plant, meaning more sales, and increased likelihood of attracting mutation.
- Relatively Small – Compared to the massive Beanstalk, the Sugar Apple tree takes a pretty modest amount of space, and is pretty easy to harvest. Garden space is always a bit limited, so leaving more space for more planting is always helpful. You can also fit low-lying plants underneath it.
