When Is The Garden Horizons Release Date?

Feature image for our Garden Horizons release date guide. It shows a screenshot from the trailer, showing a green area full of blocky trees, with the Garden Horizons logo over the top. The word 'Garden' is green and covered in leaves, while the word 'Horizons' is rendered in orange and red, with a rising sun taking the place of the 'O'.

A new gardening game is about to hit Roblox, perhaps throwing us into another Summer of Roblox crashing every admin abuse. When does it arrive, though? We’ve found the Garden Horizons release date, right in time to get on the hype train.

When Is The Garden Horizons Release Date?

Okay, time to get into it.

Confirmed Release Date

Garden Horizons is set to release on the 22nd of February 2026.

The exact time the game opens up has not been revealed. (If it’s not a surprise drop and we can find this out prior to release, we’ll put a timer here, too.)

How Do We Know This?

Image in our Garden Horizons release date article. It shows a screen from the release trailer, a black screen with white text reading '2/22/26'.

We found this information in two places, both tied to official sources. One is at the end of the official trailer on YouTube. (Screenshot shown above.) The other is in the Dawn Digital Roblox group. (Screenshot shown below.) The update is from developer Seizure Salad.

The release date on the Garden Horizons Discord FAQ still claims there’s no official release date confirmed, but we’d say given the two sources are about as legit as you can get, that we can safely assume there’s a good chance we’ll see the release on the 22nd.

What’s The Big Deal About Garden Horizons?

Remember how big Grow A Garden was a few months ago. Remember how fun it was before the game became a painful meta-chasing grind? Well, we do anyway. I don’t think any of us at DG have looked at our gardens in a long long time… but we do remember when we used to enjoy it.

Garden Horizons is a game inspired by Grow A Garden, created by those behind the Dawn Community, a discord server and bot that’s one of the best for updates and content leaks. The Dawn owners decided to work on their own game.

Dawn owner, and Garden Horizons developer Ymir said, in the initial Discord announcement about the game:

“For a long time – and especially after following the genre in-depth for the last year – we’ve watched as gardening and simulator games alike have become stale and boring. We’ve seen the same bugs, the same predatory monetization methods, the same balancing issues, and the same lack of passion. We believe the community deserves better.”

So, basically, Garden Horizons is trying to be a better version of GaG, and avoid some of the pitfalls that caused the biggest game on Roblox to eventually fall off.

It’s too early to say whether they’ll pull it off… but we’d be very happy if they do.

Is Jandel Involved In Garden Horizons?

Garden Horizons took inspiration from Grow A Garden, but it’s made by a totally different team. Jandel is not involved in any way.

Is DoBig Involved In Garden Horizons?

Garden Horizons has confirmed that DoBig have zero involvement or connection with the game. This doesn’t rule out that the uh… slightly controversial studio could seek to buy the game at a later date, of course. This is true for most titles on the platform, especially ones that do well. Though, if Garden Horizons wants to set itself apart, hopefully the developer team would avoid anything that might compromise their own vision. We’ll have to wait and see.

That’s all the useful info we’ve got for now. If you want some more up to date Roblox stuff, we’ve just added the new skinwalkers to our Scary Shawarma Kiosk: The Anomaly all anomalies guide.
