Friends and… Edaters alike all love uniting over matching avatars. But why is everybody green in Roblox? What memo did you miss, and how has everyone synced up their avatars? Find out in this explanatory article, written by someone who has witnessed it all and joined the cult of green beans.

Why Is Everybody Green in Roblox?

In short, this weekend on Saturday, August 23rd, Grow a Garden and Steal a Brainrot are having a cross-game Admin War. The rabbit hole feud goes quite deep, so I recommend checking out our Elder Bean article that covers it in-depth. But that doesn’t explain the greenness.

Over on Grow a Garden, Jandel (the main developer), has nestled a new NPC into the map’s corner for players to interact with. This NPC, dubbed Elder Bean, assimilates players into the “Admin Wars” by allowing them to adopt the Beanling attire. The iconic green avatars thousands of players are currently stunting across games.

Can You Become Green?

Sure! Just join Grow a Garden via Roblox, and speak with the Elder Bean NPC in the left corner of the map on the Seed Shop side. You may need to complete the tutorial and then reload the game if he doesn’t appear immediately.

Simply speak to him and choose the “Join the cause” option to receive the green avatar for free! Granted, most of the avatar items were free to begin with since the avatar is rather scantily clad, wearing only a hat, but hey, the hat is free!

What’s The Catch…

As far as I’m aware, there isn’t one. You don’t need to join the Admin Wars on either Grow a Garden or Steal a Brainrot this weekend if you’re busy or simply don’t want to. The avatar is free to keep forever, even though the army of matching green bean soldiers will soon fade after this weekend.
