10 Second Ninja X, the blisteringly quick puzzle-platformer, is now on Android. You can play it through Crunchyroll’s Game Vault. Originally developed by Four Circle Interactive and published by Curve Games, the game made its debut on PC and consoles in July 2016.
Nearly a decade later, it’s on mobile!
In 10 Second Ninja X, you play as a ninja with a grudge and a ten-second countdown. Each level starts a clock the moment you move. You get a sword, three shuriken, and a lot of robotic enemies to deal with.
You get in, wreck every robot on the screen, and do it very fast. The only thing you need to figure out is the best route because you can’t afford to misjudge the order or waste a shuriken on the wrong target.
The original 10 Second Ninja had Robot Hitler as the main villain. In this game, he has been replaced by the pirate-themed antagonist Captain Greatbeard.
The narrative in the game is that you’ve been kidnapped by Captain Greatbeard. He loves trapping innocent forest animals inside his robot army. Considering most pirates don’t even hang around forests, Greatbeard is an oddball.
The game includes 100 levels spread across 11 different worlds. You can also take on Marathon Modes, where levels are strung together in a single, no-break gauntlet. To help with the harder stages, there are ghost hints and player replays.

The hub world lets you explore and find hidden mini-games. You can switch between costumes and dig up extra secrets. There are eight different outfits to unlock.
Apart from Robot Hitler, 10 Second Ninja X visuals have also changed towards a more cartoon-like direction. But the core loop hasn’t changed. You get ten seconds, and there’s no margin for error.
