The 2025 IGG World Championship saw top players of Viking Rise, Lords Mobile, and Doomsday: Last Survivors throwing down for massive prizes. The event, which took place in Incheon South Korea last week, invited competitive games from across the globe, to find the three games’ communities’ greatest players.
With $400,000 up for grabs, it’s no surprise that people were bringing their A Game.
So how did things pan out?
Lords Mobile
The Lords Mobile contest kicked off with 12 teams, made up of 36 players from 16 different countries and regions.
One of the highlights was the Invitation Match Mode, where 18 South Korean players duked it out in battles to keep hold of an in-game location.
The champions at the end of the event were T4K.
Viking Rise
24 Players from around the globe, in 8 teams, battled it out in the first ever offline Viking Rise tournament.
This PvPvE event was based around the Sacred Crucible game mode, where you take your troops to a different map and fend off all sorts of enemies and rival armies for loot.
In the end, it was r350 who were able to dominate the Battle Point leaderboard and take home the prize.
Doomsday: Last Survivors
The final game in the championship saw elite strike teams made of 32 multinational elite players take part in a war mode created exclusively for the competition. Ash, Phoenix, Radiance and Shadow battled for control of key points.
All four teams performed exceptionally well during the competition, and they all ultimately received the Champion Award!
Fan Fun

It wasn’t just the players with plenty to keep them occupied, though. IGG’s partners and sponsors brought a bunch of exciting extra stuff to the events.
There was a special stage design to reflect each of the different games and their universes.
Some of South Korea’s top cosplayers were present to perform and pose for pictures with fans.

There were even zombies wandering through the crowd… thankfully, a little more friendly than the ones in Doomsday: Last Survivors.

The 2025 IGG World Championship was a great exhibition of gaming skill, but it also shows what a vibrant community the IGG titles have. Fans across the world are what made it something truly special.
