Ad-free Angry Birds coming in a month for those of you who hate the ads

Well it seems as though Rovio isn’t wanting to wait for in-game purchases to be fully integrated into their game via their Bad Piggy Bank. Instead they are going to be releasing a new version of Angry Birds without ads for a small price. According to a tweet, Rovio will have this ready within a month’s time, right near the Rio version’s launch.

Why the wait? We can only speculate as to why it would take a month to remove the ads and offer it as a paid download but we do have some ideas regarding this. One such idea would be synchronizing it with the release of the Rio version. Another would be that there will also be some new levels added into the new version (and the free version will get the new levels via an update).

From how it is sounding though, this will be a completely separate download instead of an in-game purchase which it was originally thought to be. Either way though, I’m sure this will make a few people out there happy since a lot of people dislike the ads and where they are placed. Not sure how receptive everyone who gets the paid no-ads version will be to redoing all the levels again.
