The AFK Journey x Fairy Tail crossover is now live. This is the game’s first-ever crossover. The event is sticking around for 28 days. That means you have until May 28th to dive into the new events and grab the new characters.
What’s in Store?
Farlight Games, the folks behind AFK Journey, have teamed up with the anime Fairy Tail to bring Natsu and Lucy into the world of Esperia. There’s a full original story with actual stakes and some solid content.
In the crossover story, Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia end up in Esperia through a mysterious portal. Both Natsu and Lucy are being added to the game as new dimensional faction heroes.
Lucy is on the hunt for something valuable she’s lost, and along the way, they run into Valen and Cassadee of AFK Journey. They all end up connecting with Merlin and then start their journey of magic battles and dangerous quests.
More About the New Characters in the AFK Journey x Fairy Tail Collab
Lucy uses her Celestial Spirit Magic and Gate Keys to summon celestial spirits, including those from the Zodiac set. She’s the one with the pink Fairy Tail guild mark on her right hand, and she has a deep connection to her spirits.
Natsu, or Salamander, is a Dragon Slayer Mage. He has a strong dislike for any kind of transportation and has a red guild mark on his right shoulder. Catch a glimpse of these new heroes in the AFK Journey x Fairy Tail collab here.
By the way, Fairy Sonata is the title of the limited-time event. There’s a good amount of stages to clear, stories to unlock, and daily quests to check out. You’ll get 30 free event recruits just by logging in.
