Albion Online has dropped its first big update of 2025, the Rogue Frontier. Living on the edge is the theme here and there’s a brand-new faction, fresh ways to trade and some new weapons. You can be part of an underground network of outcasts making their own rules.

The Smugglers are the ultimate rebels and misfits who got sick of the Royal Continent’s rules and decided to set up shop in the lawless wilds. They’ve built hidden hideouts called Smuggler’s Dens, where you can set up a base, stash your loot and take part in all kinds of illicit activities.
Their dens have banks, repair stations and travel planners to keep you moving. They’re part of a Smuggler’s Network which is a trading system that connects the Outlands in new ways. You can now move goods without dealing with the Royal Continent’s usual taxes and headaches but pay a price to the Smugglers.
The Smugglers have a full-on Faction now, which means you can take on missions to prove your loyalty. Maybe you’ll track down and recover stolen Smuggler Crates from ambushed wagons. Or rescue captured Smugglers from the Royal Guards. Doing so lets you collect Smuggler’s Coins and use them to gain standing in their ranks.
Let’s Look Beyond the Smuggler Action
The Rogue Frontier Update also brings some long-awaited features to Albion Online. The new Bank Overview lets you check where all your items are stored across the game world. So no more scrambling to remember where you left that rare loot.
Kill Trophies have been added for PvP players who want to immortalize their best battles. Also, the Albion Journal now has a Creatures category, challenging you to document the various beasts roaming the wild.
There are three new Crystal Weapons depending on whether you’re an explorer, a trader or a fighter. So, go ahead and grab Albion Online from the Google Play Store to check out this new update.
