Amazon’s App Store for Android now becoming available for users outside the US

Well after a long haul of being US residents only, the Amazon App Store for Android seems to be making it’s way to other continents now as well. Currently there has been no official word of the availability of the Amazon App Store for Android moving to other areas but it is confirmed that downloads are working.

This should make a lot of people happy outside of the US now that they will be able to be involved in getting the free app/game of the day as well as all the other deals and sales Amazon’s App Store for Android tends to have. While no official word has come from Amazon just yet we do know that, at least in the UK, both free and paid downloads are working for the app store.

This does come right in time with Amazon gearing up to announce, official, it’s tablet plans which begin with 7″ Kindle device that will be powered by Android which is rumored to be coming in November. Question is, after such a long wait, is anyone outside of the US interested in using the Amazon App Store for Android still?
