The wind whispers through the plains, rustling the woollen clothes of the Pupils as they prepare for the long journey ahead. That’s one of the experiences you’ll get in As Far As The Eye, a new roguelike resource management game by Goblinz Studio.

Do You Know What You Play As?

You play as the wind in As Far As The Eye. Being the wind, you guide the nomadic tribe toward the Eye, the only safe haven before the world is swallowed by water. It’s a roguelike city-builder which tests your resource management skills.

You help the Pupils set up camp on a halt, a temporary stop where they can gather food, craft tools and research mystical knowledge. They’ll need every advantage they can get because once they move on, there’s no turning back.

Your Pupils have jobs to train in, skills to master and fates to fulfil. Some become a seasoned builder, making future halts easier to manage. Another might dive deep into agriculture, ensuring your tribe never starves.

Meanwhile, just when you think you’ve got it all planned out, a natural disaster might swoop in. Or you might face some other unexpected situation. The best part is that no two playthroughs are the same but every decision you make has consequences.

Take a look at As Far As The Eye below.

You have to plan your route carefully, choosing halts that offer the resources needed to keep going. Some paths might lack what’s required for long-term survival. Others demand sacrifice upfront but could pay off later if you make it that far.

As Far As The Eye stands apart due to the fact that there are no enemies. No bandits, no monsters, no looming war. And with no two runs ever being the same, it makes reaching the Eye feel like an accomplishment every single time.

Check out the game on the Google Play Store. It’s up for grabs at $3.99.
