Astera is a steampunk fantasy world with a long-forgotten cataclysm
You take on the role of an agent of the Eternal Watchers. It’s a covert group that safeguards the realm ever since the dawn of a new civilisation.
With high-energy combat, speed, precision, and timing are key in Astera. The game’s encounters bring you smart opponents, which forces you to adapt in each fight.
The combat system allows some creativity through dual-class specialization. It lets you combine two hero classes for unique builds. For example, a warrior can later pick up cleric skills to become a paladin, or a ranger can bring magic into their style by pairing with a mage.
Character customisation offers a variety of gear options and items found throughout the world and in dungeons. Astera also encourages you to hunt for gear that fits your preferred playstyle.
The dungeons follow a rogue-like structure, with procedural generation making each run feel fresh. As you progress through a dungeon, you can choose new powers that reshape your tactics.
