It wasn’t too long ago that we reported on the official announcement of the upcoming gacha game, Atelier Resleriana. Well, the launch date has now been revealed – and it’s sooner than you think.

Atelier Resleriana will be available to download on September 23 on Android. The PC/Steam version, however, will launch at a later unconfirmed date. Unfortunately, the September 23 release date is only applicable to JP players.

For more information about Atelier Resleriana, you can visit the game’s official website and the official Google Play page.

Is There a Release Date for the Global Version?

As of right now, there isn’t a confirmed date for the global version. In fact, some people are starting to get a little worried about Atelier Resleriana even being available outside of JP.

If the game gets enough traction and support over the next few months, we could be seeing a global release early next year. With Atelier Resleriana being a new mainline entry in the popular series, it would be a shame for worldwide fans to miss out – including myself.

The Controversy of a Mainline Gacha Game

The gacha game sparked a bit of controversy when it was first announced, especially with it being classed as a mainline title for the franchise. Some players were confused as to why a mobile gacha game was considered a brand-new mainline entry – noting back to the last Atelier gacha game that failed.

While some fans were hoping for a game reminiscent of the open-world entries Atelier Ryza and Atelier Sophie, Resleriana will have to live up to the high standards that the previous two installments set.

The mobile game will certainly be lacking in some parts when compared to the major titles in the Atelier franchise, but that doesn’t mean that it’ll be bad. But, it may need to be successful enough in Japan to warrant a global release.
