The Gardens Between, the award-winning puzzle game from Australian developer The Voxel Agents, is coming to Android this summer.
The game, which came first to PC and consoles in 2018, before making the jump to iOS in 2019, sees you helping childhood friends Arina and Frendt to navigate a series of imaginary islands based on their common experiences.
Each of these islands represents a memory, and their journey through these memories is triggered by the fact that Frendt is moving away. It’s a bit like Inside Out, but with a time-based gameplay mechanic that has echoes of Braid.
The Gardens Between has won a handful of awards, including Game of the Year at the Australian Game Development Awards. You can register to become a tester here.
