If you have ever been a comic fan to any sort of degree then you’ve probably heard, seen or read at least one issue of a Usagi Yojimbo comic. The bad ass ronin samurai rabbit will be making his first appearance in a new game after 25 years and this game will be coming to multiple platforms including Android.
Details are still pretty scare about this game, officially named Usagi Yojimbo: Way of the Ronin, which is being developed by Happy Giant games. According to the description under the YouTube teaser trailer, Happy Gaint are big Usagi fans and therefor are taking this seriously, promising an epic storyline and plenty of brawling action. What we do know is from the game’s official website which states that players will be “fighting against ninjas, demonic samurai, evil spirits and more in a classic 2D side-scrolling brawler” style of game.
You’ll also get to fight alongside friends Gen, Tomoe & other allies, gain power-ups, break out combos and unlock new items and content. As for a release date, all we know of right now is that it will be arriving on all platforms in “Fall 2012” Check out the teaser trailer above if you’re a fan.
