The best way to describe this game is that it is a Game Dev Story type of title but instead of building up a game development company, you are building a successful band. This isn’t a hybrid sim like some of Kairosoft’s newest games which feature other gameplay elements like RPG mechanics. You’ll start off picking a genre of music you want to have your band play, then you are off to form your own band from the members that are initially available.

Once you have your initial band set up and ready to go, you will start playing music, practicing, upgrading skills and so on. As you progress through the game, more band members will be unlocked, each with their own unique abilities. In terms of playing music, you’ll be doing concert tours and battles with other bands. While graphically not on the same level as Game Dev Story or other similar games, the game mechanics are just as deep.
