Publisher Playdigious is bringing Spiderling Studios’ popular physics building game, Besiege, to mobile. It was first released on PC in February 2020 after a long five-year early access run. The game’s vehicle construction, tower defense-style strategy and slapstick destruction made the PC version an instant hit.

Smash castles to pieces…

…with machines of your own creation. Besiege is about building machines that shouldn’t work but somehow do. You cobble together siege engines, test your prototypes, and watch them either topple armies or explode in hilarious failure.

The construction system gives you over 70 blocks and weapons. They range from simple wooden beams to flamethrowers, rockets, spinning blades and components to create tanks, planes, helicopters, or giant mechs.

The goal is to survive long enough to see your contraptions do their job. Across 55 levels spanning four island nations, you’ll topple towers, torch villages, and crush knights in ways that can be both brutal and unintentionally comedic.

Besiege Mobile also offers wide open sandbox maps where you can tinker endlessly, terrorising inhabitants while refining your inventions. On that note, watch the Besiege Mobile announcement trailer below.

The in-game workshop lets you download other players’ machines or share your own. This feature has been a huge part of the PC version’s popularity.

Besiege Mobile will also have Google Play Games achievements on Android, controller compatibility, and a cloud save option to share your progress across devices.

Mobile players can try the game for free at launch, with the first campaign chapter included as a demo. Unlocking the full game will cost $7.99, though there’s a special 10% discount if you pre-register now. So, head over to the Google Play Store to get the deal. The game is set to launch on November 18th.
