There are plenty of Tower Defense games available on Android already. Many of them are quite good, some of them suck, but most of them try to be a little different than what is already out there. Developers going by the name Insane Sheep have released a new game called Big Tower which they are banking on being unique enough to be the Tower Defense game of choice for fans of the genre.
Most Tower Defense games offer up a few ways to customize your gaming experience. Usually players are given a selection of towers to use to fend off incoming enemy units. These towers grow stronger as they level up and sometimes you’re given the option to customize these towers with a unique ability once they reach a certain level.
This new game by Insane Sheep takes the customizing of towers to a whole new level. Customization in Big Tower runs deep, with a possible 84 different parts to customize with each tower. This offers up a hell of a lot of possible combinations and a much more dynamic type of gameplay. Big Tower also has plenty of other interesting features as well to dig into.
Aside from the rather unique tower customizing game mechanics, there are 8 boss battles throughout 32 levels and plenty of enemies to deal with, to the tune of 8 types of enemies and 42 different looking foes to beat. All of this is wrapped up with some retro-style graphics and a retro-style soundtrack.
Big Tower is now available off of Google Play for $1.99 but if you want to try the game out before you buy it, there is also a free demo available.
