Good news, Black Clover fans. The upcoming mobile gacha game that takes place in the same universe as the anime series will still launch across the globe in 2023, publisher Garena has confirmed.

Black Clover M, or Rise of the Wizard King as its full title goes, is already available in Canada, Japan, and South Korea. The team has been hard at work optimising the experience for its global launch.

What Optimisations Are Coming to Black Clover M at Launch?

In a recent letter, the team pointed to a number of features that have seen improvements since the soft launch. In particular, the team has focused on adjusting the early game difficulty and reducing the need to grind.

The biggest improvement is the removal of the Story Tickets system. To progress in the story, you had to grind for tickets to allow you to participate in the next level. This is now gone in favour of a more traditional stamina system.

The team has also introduced skill page rate-up banners, providing you with easier access to mage’s skill pages. Previously, these were challenging to come across, and now you will have a chance to get them from banners.

Less Grinding and PVP?

Similarly, you can now awaken duplicate characters without first ranking them up to LR, vastly reducing the amount of grind required to progress. Alongside this, you can expect to get more LR gear and XP potions as you progress.

Finally, real-time PVP is definitely coming as part of a future update, and will hopefully arrive alongside the future global launch. But when will that be? Well, Garena hasn’t confirmed a release date, but will “soon”.

Where Can I Get Black Clover M?

If you live in Japan, South Korea, or Canada, you can grab Black Clover M on Google Play right now. For everyone else, you can head over there to pre-register for it. That way, you will get a notification as soon as it is available.
