There was a time, back in the day, when every other game coming out on the Play Store was a tower defense title. That’s not the case nowadays, but there are still a few series and devs that are throwing out new TD games on a regular basis.
The Bloons series is one of the most popular of those, and the latest entry, Bloons TD Battles 2 has just landed on the Play Store. This time you’re fighting against other players, building towers and sending out waves of enemies at the same time.
It’s an interesting idea, if sometimes a bit fiddly because of the extra controls – especially on smaller screens. Here’s a trailer so you can get an idea of what to expect.
The game certainly looks like it’s got some neat ideas, although there are some negative reviews on the Play Store that focus on ads and poor matchmaking.
