A Blue Archive anime adaptation is on the horizon! Fans have been waiting for this news for quite a while now, especially since Arknights is also getting its own anime soon.

What About Sensei?

One of the main questions that fans have now is “Will Sensei get a face and voice reveal?”. This is referencing the fact that Sensei (who is actually you) is completely anonymous, with no face or voice lines.

It’s an interesting concept, especially if fans finally get to see who Sensei really is in the canonical sense. Blue Archive and Arknights aren’t the only gacha games to get an anime adaption either – a Genshin Impact anime is also in the works at UFO Table.

Is There a Blue Archive Anime Release Date?

As of right now, there’s no further information about the Blue Archive anime. The announcement tweet states “The official anime website will be released later, please look forward to the follow-up report!”. This means we’ll have to patiently wait for a release date, as well as which characters will actually feature in the anime itself.

We assume that the anime will follow the same storyline as the game, but could we see a completely new story set in the same universe? Personally, we hope it covers the game’s main story, as we’re excited to see our favourite characters adapted.

The “Final” Chapter

It’s been a good day for Blue Archive fans, with the latest PV release too. This short video is a preview for the “final” chapter – don’t worry, we’ll avoid spoilers. If you haven’t seen the video yet, check it out below.

While this is the “final” chapter, the game doesn’t seem to be ending any time soon. Blue Archive’s popularity is at an all-time high, with the anime adaptation, and a highly successful anniversary event just a few weeks ago.
