What Does the Event Include?
Barbie and friends are on their way to the Candy Kingdom as they embark on a brand-new journey. Driving in her iconic pink car, Barbie’s appearance in the popular game brings event-exclusive rewards and gameplay to mobile devices.
This special event begins today, with the Barbie movie releasing in cinemas on July 21 – only 8 days away! It’s important to note that the event ends on July 23, so it’s best to get started as soon as possible so you don’t miss out. Luckily, it’s a fairly short even that won’t take up much of your time. This means you could easily pace it out over a few days, or binge it all in one day!
Special Event Exclusive Content!
Candy Crush Saga x Barbie also includes limited-time quests as you join Barbie on her road trip. These quests then reward you with purple “B” candies that can be used to obtain event rewards. Barbie and her friends are trying to find their way back to the real world, but that doesn’t mean they won’t make the most out of their newly found adventure before doing so!
Additionally, players can access a featurette named “A Candy Exclusive: We Are Barbie”, which includes an interesting discussion between some of the film’s staff members in regards to the variety of personalities that Barbie will have in the movie.
This isn’t the first time that Candy Crush Saga has collaborated with a big household name. The mobile game has worked with Doja Cat, Moschino, and many more in the past. While this event doesn’t add any major changes to the overall game, it’s still a fun and fresh way to create even more hype for the official Barbie movie!
