Dragon Raja, the stunning open-world cyberpunk MMORPG powered by Unreal Engine, is turning four this month.
To celebrate, developer Archosaur Games is showering Dragon Raja players with gifts. These include a limited Motor, an exclusive Title, events, rewards galore, and even a whole new class.
More on this mysterious newcomer later. First, here’s some background for those of you who haven’t yet given Dragon Raja a play.
Gameplay-wise, Dragon Raja is a vast, sprawling open-world RPG populated by over 35 million players. It sees you picking a class, customizing your look, building a virtual home, socializing with fellow players, embarking on adventures, getting into fights, and exploring.
So much exploring.
To take advantage of Dragon Raja’s anniversary giveaway, all you need to do is log in. You’ll be inundated with gifts from the get-go, including Avatar Frames, Gears, and a host of rare items.
You’ll also get to claim a limited Motor, which you’ll need in order to explore the game’s gigantic world.
Dubbed “Late Night Tracking”, this exclusive new motor stretches the definition of a vehicle to breaking point, but it’s the perfect way of discovering the far-flung surprises that are scattered throughout the tranquil Nordic forest, bustling streets of Tokyo, the corridors of a Western school, and elsewhere.
A second wave of anniversary events will offer a sneak peek at the game’s new class, taking the total from 14 to 15.
We don’t have a name for her yet, but Archosaur Games has revealed that the new class possesses an “easy spellcasting stance, precise control of elemental power, and perfect balance between destructive fire and freezing ice”.
The third wave of events will consist of a whole new memory that will see you getting reacquainted with some old friends and locations as you participate in a round of Summer Fireworks.
Throughout, you’ll be able to earn Fireworks Giftboxes, Fireworks Seals, Fireworks Secrets, Gold, and many more rare gifts.
Finally, the fourth wave of events will let you earn gifts by simply liking posts and hanging out with your friends. Plus, this wave will contain a Magic Student Union event and a “joyful” Memory of Union event.
These will let you create your very own magic book and/or support the magic books created by your friends on social media. There are thousands of Diamonds on offer with this one, so the stakes are high.
Of course, Dragon Raja isn’t just about the events. Last year it got cross-server contests and a ton of other new features, and there’s a lot more lined up for 2024.
