XCOM 2 Collection is coming to mobile very soon. Unfortunately for most of us, the branch of mobile it’s coming to is iOS – though an Android version will follow next year.
That means it’s worth your while watching this extended gameplay video of XCOM 2 Collection running on an iOS device. You may have longer to wait, but the gameplay is likely to be exactly the same.
The video shows a slick-looking port with solid visuals and a touchscreen-friendly interface. The port is being handled by Feral Interactive, the studio behind the recent Company of Heroes mobile version, so it’s in reputable hands.
Gameplay-wise, XCOM 2 follows the tactical blueprint of its predecessor, though this time you’re rising up against alien oppressors rather than trying to push back an invasion.
XCOM 2 Collection will be available on iOS on November the 5th. The Android version will be along significantly later.
