Enhydra Games has launched a wholesome little game called Chonky Town. It’s a mobile exclusive, now available on Android and iOS. If you’ve played their earlier game, Chonky – From Breakfast to Domination, you’ll recognize some familiar faces here.
That one was released in early access on Steam in November 2022. It’s an Action RPG where Chonkys had to survive the dangers of the forest while trying to not screw things up. It has battles, mysterious creatures and lore.
What Are Chonkys and What Is Chonky Town?
Chonkys and Chubbs are chubby little dragon-likes that are not scary at all. They aren’t exactly brainiacs and are just a bunch of lovable goofballs. These round dragons with stubby legs have permanently confused expressions on their faces, which just make the game a lot jollier.
Now, in Chonky Town, you build a village for a bunch of these adorable loaf-shaped creatures. You watch them hatch from eggs and then expand your little community into a cosy, chaotic town full of these charming critters. Take a look at them right here!
You start off by caring for your own batch of Chubbs and Chonkys. Hunt down eggs and drag them home. Then let your grown-up dragons babysit while the next generation slowly inherits their fluff and talents.
There’s a whole layer of breeding and traits in Chonky Town which you can try out. Once your village starts filling up, you’ll unlock more areas to explore. That’s when you can send your Chonkys out into the world on adventures.
It’s definitely entertaining to see what they bring back. They might stumble across resources, rare eggs or maybe just silly trinkets. Meanwhile, back in the village, you’re farming, building houses and making sure everyone is well fed and happy.
Apart from these well-set goals in Chonky Town, you can absolutely just chill with your Chonkys too. Give them baths, feed them snacks and hang out. So, check the game out from the Google Play Store if you like cutesy stuff!
