Clash Royale’s upcoming Crown Championship will determine who the best player is

Clash Royale Crown Championship

Think you’re the best Clash Royale player? Well, why don’t you put that to the test in the upcoming Crown Championship, which aims to determine exactly that.

The Crown Championship kicks off on May 11th with Open Play. Supercell will create hundreds of 1000 player strong custom tournaments that last five days. The top performing players in each will then go through to the next round on May 16th, which starts on May 20th.

It will then move on to bracket play. At this point, players will compete in eight tournaments that each hold 1024 entrants and last seven days. On May 27th, a single player from each tournament will progress.

Things will then get competitive on June 10th. For three weeks, the remaining 8 players will battle each other Round Robin-style. The two players with the lowest score will get eliminated.

The remaining six will then go into the Spring Finals on June 30th. This will take the form of an intense Double Elimination before the winner gets crowned.

You can watch the tournament live on YouTube, Twitch, and Facebook after the championship has progressed to the Round Robin phase. That makes sense given that the previous phases will contain hundreds of thousands of battles.

If you think you’ve got what it takes, you can register for the tournament right now. You have to be over 16, have at least a level 8 account, and live in the region you’re registering for to enter.
