Crunchyroll Game Vault on Android has a new addition. It’s Classroom of the Elite, the mobile game adaptation of Shōgo Kinugasa’s popular novel series. The game, just like the series, lets you deal with cutthroat classroom politics along with some boring lectures.

Step into the halls of the Advanced Nurturing High School

It’s a place where your social moves are just as important as your test scores. You’ll be playing as Kiyotaka Ayanokoji. He’s mysterious and sharp at the same time. Keep your classmates close and your enemies closer, while managing your class points like a regular student.

Classroom of the Elite isn’t a typical school sim that focuses on making friends or confessing your crush. This game asks you to manipulate, survive, and climb to the top of a highly competitive system that rewards strategy over kindness.

The game offers a collection of new storylines that have been crafted by the original creators. You get to see fresh sides of familiar faces and discover untold interactions. And the visuals are a feast, accompanied by full Japanese voice acting done by the original cast of the anime.

The game is available exclusively to Crunchyroll Mega and Ultimate Fan members on Android. It joins a growing collection of ad-free games of Crunchyroll, which avoid the usual microtransactions. Check it out on the Google Play Store.

In case you don’t know much about the original series, let me give you a quick introduction to it. Classroom of the Elite is a light novel series that ran from May 2015 to September 2019. It later inspired a sequel series, manga adaptations, and an anime that debuted in 2017.

The mobile game published by Crunchyroll has been developed by KADOKAWA. It slides into the genres of action and puzzle, but you can also call it a tense social chess match!
