Com2Us originally released their rather entertaining pet simulation game Kung Fu Pets to a select few countries. At the time of the game’s location locked release, it wasn’t mentioned as to whether or not this was some sort of soft launch or something else. Now it doesn’t matter since Com2Us is releasing Kung Fu Pets worldwide today.
For those of you not familiar with this game, Kung Fu Pets is Com2Us’ take on the whole pet simulation genre but with a few twists. There are a ton of pets to collect and collecting them is done in various ways, whether you find them out in the wild, breeding them, or other methods. All pets can be leveled up through training them in Kung Fu and each pet has their own unique skill set to take advantage of in PvP matches with other player’s pets.

There is a bit of city building in this game as well. Players can expand and decorate their villages with plenty of in-game items. This include special housing for your pets and training areas to make them stronger. Also, to celebrate the game’s launch, Com2Us is holding a special event where players can collect limited edition in-game items for their pets and villages. This promotion will run until November 19th, 2014.
If you’re looking for a pet simulation game with a bit of a Pokemon flair to it, then you might want to check out Kung Fu Pets. Downloading a copy of this game will cost you nothing and while there are IAPs, they are completely optional.
