SubaGames has kicked off the closed beta test for Cooking Battles, their upcoming multiplayer cooking sim. The game is all about cooking battles, literally, and might even make you feel like you’re participating in MasterChef’s.
Compete Against the Best
In Cooking Battles knowing your ingredients matters, and so does being fast and strategic in the kitchen. As soon as you log in, you’re thrown into real-time cooking duels with players from around the world.
You get to explore flavours from places like Ukraine, Thailand, the UK, the USA, Taiwan, and even outer space. You might be slicing sashimi in Tokyo one moment and grilling alien meat on a distant planet the next.
The core gameplay is about speed and accuracy. Orders come in hot, and you have to grill, chop, marinate, and plate dishes with sharp reflexes. If you miss a step or mess up your rhythm, you lose points.
The customization options are plenty in the game. Even in the Cooking Battles closed beta test, your chef can rock professional gear and fashion-forward outfits. There are options like a classy bistro with mood lighting and neon-lit diner with holograms and a robot staff.

The CBT is already giving players a solid glimpse of what’s coming. There is multiplayer, design freedom and global and intergalactic travel. Check out the game on the Google Play Store. You can download it and directly sign up for the CBT.
As you rack up wins, you’ll unlock new recipes, secret ingredients, and a bunch of mini-games. Apparently, there’s a lot of content locked behind your performance, so the better you play, the more fun stuff you get.
