Crashlands 2 released a major update today, version 1.1. Butterscotch Shenanigans, the creators, rolled out the update with some challenges and a bunch of stuff that players of the original Crashlands were asking to see again.

What’s in Store in Crashlands 2 Update 1.1?

Legend Mode is here, which has higher difficulty levels than the Challenge Mode. Enemies on Woanope are quicker, hit harder, and have bulked up HP bars, while Flux Dabes is even flimsier than before.

There are no extra achievements for beating it, However, you’ll auto-unlock all the lower-difficulty ones as a reward.

On the other side of the spectrum, there’s now Explorer Mode for players who’d rather farm mushrooms, build a cute house, and catch fish without worrying about getting their face bitten off.

It tones combat way down so you can soak in the story, decorate your base, and enjoy the company of Crashlands 2’s weird and wonderful characters.

The biggest change is the return of The Compendium. The devs definitely heard the feedback after launch. The Compendium keeps track of everything Flux discovers, including how many pets, recipes, and items you still have to hunt down to reach the goal.

Pets also got a bit of an upgrade

With the Update 1.1 of Crashlands 2, the pets now pitch in during fights. Also, each one has a special ability you can trigger every 20 seconds.

Gear crafting has also been given more variety, with random bonus stats rolling when you create armour. They also added a bunch of new gadgets, weapons, and trinkets.

Quality of life improvements are scattered all over update 1.1 of Crashlands 2. You can now build on way more terrain, customize where your home teleporter is, and adjust the darkness at night.

Get Crashlands 2 from the Google Play Store. Fyi, it launched on April 10th, so this patch shows that the devs are paying attention to player feedback.
