Ludigames is cooking up something quite fun with its latest mobile shooter. It’s called Cute Invasion, and it just started its live testing on Android in select regions. The game lives up to its name with its army of overly cheerful creatures that seem straight out of a nightmare disguised as a kids’ cartoon.
Where Is the Cute Invasion Android Testing Happening?
If you’re in the US, UK, Romania or France, you can jump in and start blasting away at the cute army. The live test runs until early May 2025, leading up to a planned soft launch that same month. It’s exclusive for Android players.
Diving more into the game, it’s not an average shooter. Cute Invasion throws you into the Shadow World, where an invasion of the ‘Cuties’ is threatening to ruin everything with their sickeningly sweet positivity.
The creatures in the game may look adorable, but they’re basically a plague! So, your goal is to wipe them out before they completely corrupt your home turf. The game leans into grotesque, dark humour, which is its highlight.
It’s All Fun and Quirky!
One of the cool features of the game is how every shot you take actually leaves a mark on the Cuties. There is also a Frenzy Mode which you can activate to annihilate all the Cuties in sight while restocking your ammo.
