With dungeons, danger and loot, this game lets you dive into a dark fantasy world. Krafton is releasing the soft launch of Dark and Darker Mobile tonight. If you like games which have dungeon crawls with a mix of PvP and PvE gameplay, then keep reading.
Where Is the Dark and Darker Mobile Soft Launch?
It’s launching in the US and Canada. Starting at 7:00 PM ET (that’s February 5 at 12:00 AM UTC), you can dive into Dark and Darker Mobile on Android if you are in these countries. For the rest of the players, the global version will be released in August 2025.
If you’ve played the PC version, you already know the game. And if you haven’t, here’s the lowdown. You drop into a dungeon, grab as much treasure as you can and fight your way out before the deadly Dark Swarm closes in.
Between hordes of monsters, deadly traps, and other adventurers looking to rob you blind, survival is quite tough in the game. You get six classes to pick from, and each one changes how you approach the dungeon.
The Wizard lets you blast enemies with raw magical power while the Barbarian smashes through the battlefield. Clerics keep the team alive with healing magic while Fighters charge in with swords and shields. Rangers snipe from a distance and Rogues are the sneaky, fast class who are always looking for an opening to strike.

What Makes the Mobile Version Different?
A few things. First, AI-controlled Sidekicks are coming in clutch for solo players, acting as powerful allies to help you make it out alive. There are also separate dungeons for PvE-only and PvP-only runs. Also, for the ultimate challenge, endgame dungeons will reward only the boldest players who dare to step inside.
