Dead Cells, the universally acclaimed “roguevania” from Motion Twin, is set to get another huge DLC early next year. Called Fatal Falls, the new content will include locations, rewards, enemies, and more.
Two new biomes will be included, called The Fractured Shrines and The Undying Shores, along with a new boss fight. These biomes will be parallel to the Stilt Village, Clock Tower, and Time Keeper areas in the existing game.
In the words of the press release, “These additions will provide significant new options for fans looking for middle-run exploration and are brimming with new ways to succumb to a terribly painful death”.
It’s not clear when the new DLC will come to Android, however. In the past, updates have tended to arrive on PC and console before rolling out to mobile. Just over a month ago, the portable version of Dead Cells got a Legacy update, bringing it level with the big boy versions.
In any case, we’ll find out soon enough. In the meantime, you can download Dead Cells on the Google Play Store for $8.99 right now.
