If you like co-op shooters, then you must have definitely heard of (or played) Deep Rock Galactic. The development team, Ghost Ship Games has launched a mobile spin-off version, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor.

You’re alone in this one!

Instead of four dwarves yelling at each other in dark tunnels, Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor leaves you stranded alone on Planet Hoxxes. You face endless swarms with only your weapons, wits, and trusty robot companion, BOSCO.

Set on the deadly surface of Hoxxes IV, the game mixes mining and reverse bullet hell. You’ll run, dodge, and mine while your weapons automatically fire at the horde closing in. Carve through alien waves while drilling into cave walls for precious minerals.

Once your Drop Pod slams into the darkness, the real challenge begins. Each run comes with specific mission objectives handed down by the ever-demanding Company. You have to complete them before the timer runs out and make it back to extraction.

You can pick from four classic classes with unique tools and playstyles. With them, you can tackle a variety of biomes filled with deadly Glyphids and hidden riches. The deeper you dig, the tougher the enemies and the higher the rewards.

Visually and mechanically, it’s still unmistakably Deep Rock, but seen from a whole new perspective. The switch to a top-down view changes the way you navigate the caves of Hoxxes. On that note, catch a glimpse of the game below.

Deep Rock Galactic: Survivor is a single-player auto-shooter

One dwarf, a gun that never stops firing, and a planet full of bugs that just won’t quit. Veteran miners will spot familiar details from the weapon designs to the iconic callouts. And if you’re new to it, you’ll get a solid introduction to why this world of gruff dwarves and glowing minerals became so beloved in the first place.

The game offers a free trial, with the full version available for $9.99. Check the game on the Google Play Store. Also, read our next scoop on Pikmin Bloom x Pikmin 4 Collab.
