Armenian startup DigiNeat LLC has launched a free to download 3D football shooter RoboGol on mobile.
The game features epic team battles based on rivalry among countries, with both a global ranking and country-specific rankings. Results can be tracked online in multiplayer mode.
In terms of the gameplay itself, it pits two teams of three players against each other in fast-paced five-minute showdowns. Victory is determined either by the highest score at the end of the timer or by the first team to score three goals. Draws are also possible of course.
Your arsenal includes unique weapon types capable of crushing your enemies and allowing you to score decisive goals in a massive sports arena.
Designed to avoid the pay-to-win model – but including in-app purchases to enhance the gameplay experience if you so wish – it’s a title anyone can enjoy.
You can purchase unique emblems and customize your tanks’ appearance, even adding the flag of the country you come from if you wish. You can also select from a range of tracks and bases.
The game incorporates a variety of modules that differ in efficiency and impact too. Guns serve as destructive weapons used to shoot the ball, for example – you can modify your guns, switching between types like short-range blasters, mass-destruction cannons, or precision rifles. Each is suited to different tactical scenarios.
Bases vary in capacity, weight, and durability as well – making them harder to breach. You can equip boosters to gain an edge during matches, and vehicle choice further influences strategy.
Forwards should opt for lightweight BGRs, midfielders favor medium BGRs, and goalkeepers generally select heavier and slower BGRs that support more boosters. There’s a range of tactics to employ, from corner shots and defensive maneuvers.
You can earn points after each match based on your performance too, adding to your overall rating. Ratings decay daily though, meaning you’ll have to play regularly to stay on top.
The intuitive interface, refined through three redesigns, is currently available in the beta build of the game too. Matchmaking pairs you with opponents of a similar skill level, so there’s no reason not to dive in straight away.
RoboGol was actually developed using AI too – with the bots continuously learning from the actions of real players like yourself. So you’re always guaranteed a competitive game, whether you play humans or the CPU.
