Jam City has dropped a new Disney-based puzzle adventure. It’s called Disney Magic Match 3D, letting you sort through a whirl of treasures from the various worlds of Disney. Jam City has a long list of puzzle games, including Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery, Disney Frozen Adventures, Family Guy The Quest for Stuff and Cookie Jam Blast Match 3.
Disney Magic Match 3D is a simple puzzle game
It’s not anything atypical. But if you’re a hard-core Disney fan, then you’ll probably appreciate the worlds of Moana, Aladdin, and Toy Story. Each level is filled with recognisable Disney and Pixar items.
Disney Magic Match 3D has a story, too. It all begins when the ancient Disney Book of Magic opens, scattering iconic artefacts across magical realms. Your task is to restore the pieces to their rightful places by solving 3D matching puzzles.
The items range from anything and everything Disney and Pixar. You’ll find Mickey Mouse’s gloves and Minnie’s bow, Aladdin’s lamp and Woody’s boots, among many other things.
As you advance, new chapters of the book unlock, connected to a new Disney theme. The Enchanted Levels take it further, combining classic Disney designs with puzzles that reward observation in more unique ways.
The gameplay revolves around sorting and matching 3D objects in a tray that can hold up to seven items at once. Fill it up with pieces that can’t be matched, and you’ll have to make a decision. Either spend Coins to clear the tray or take the hit and lose a life.
There are a variety of boosters available. The Undo Broom booster removes the last placed item. The Shuffle Puffer unlocks at Level 8 and mixes up the board to reveal hidden items.
The Snow Stopper unlocks at Level 9 and pauses the timer for ten seconds. The Twinkle Time booster unlocks at Level 13 and starts the round with thirty extra seconds on the clock.
Other powerups, like the Booster Streak, unlock as you progress through the levels. If you’re interested in this new game, grab it from the Google Play Store.
