Tiny Rebel Games, who released the popular Doctor Who: Legacy match-three puzzler in 2013, has announced that it’s working on a follow-up called Doctor Who: Infinity.
Apparently Doctor Who: Infinity will retain the match-three gameplay of its predecessor while taking the series in a new direction. It’ll have a comic book adventure visual style, and fans will be pleased to learn that the popular character Missy will feature heavily.
A team of writers from the TV show will contribute to the project, which is good because according to executive producer Susan Cummings it’s going to be “a new platform for delivery of stories”. Intriguing.
The game will be soft-launched next spring, and released shortly after that.
