Originally released back in 1994, DotEmu’s latest announcement is regarding Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure which will be coming to Android this year sometime in the Fall. The game is also known as Little Big Adventure depending on where you were living when it was released.
Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure is an action-adventure game in a top down perspective where you will be playing as Twinsen, a young hero living on the Island of the Citadel during the dictatorship of Dr. FunFrock. You have started to have strange dreams in which the legendary goddess Sendell indicates that this tyranny was living his last hours and that the planet would soon be free. This rumor doesn’t seem to make Dr. FunFrock happy who then immediately locks you in a mental asylum. After you’ve escaped your cell you will discover that you are destined to eradicate this dictatorship and your mission is to save the world.

Relentless: Twinsen’s Adventure is a unique game, “all characters and vehicles in the game, including some props in the world, are real 3D polygon-based objects, performing actions within 2D hand-drawn environments” whic gives it a pretty unique style. It looks as though the official name for when this game is release will actually be Little Big Adventure. No word just yet on pricing but we do know that is will be out this Fall.
