Dredge, the Lovecraftian fishing horror adventure is now available on mobile. You’ll get to have a day out at sea with unknowable horrors lurking in the fog. In this eerie little adventure, you’re a lone fisherman setting out on the waters around a remote archipelago called The Marrows.
A Sinister Fishing Adventure
At first glance, it’s a simple life. You catch fish, sell them to the locals, upgrade your boat and repeat. But then, you notice that there’s something off about the waters. And the more you explore, the weirder things get.
The premise is straightforward: fish to survive. But you’re dealing with more than just the usual oceanic hazards like sharp rocks and treacherous reefs. The real danger in Dredge is the fog that creeps in at night.
As you dredge up lost relics and fulfil the questionable requests of the island’s inhabitants, you’ll start piecing together the unsettling history of this place. Catch a glimpse of the horror right here!
Will You Dredge?
Exploration is a huge part of the game, and each island in the archipelago has different secrets and residents who may or may not be entirely sane. You’ll also need to keep an eye on your gear because upgrading your boat is a must if you don’t want to get stranded later. Special equipment unlocks access to deeper waters and rarer finds.
Dredge nails a low-poly but highly atmospheric art style that makes it look almost surreal. The game offers full controller support and even button remapping. The touch controls work pretty well too. So, grab the game from the Google Play Store. Originally priced at $24.99, it’s now up for grabs at $10.99 celebrating the Android launch.
