Indie studio Happy Broccoli Games has brought the Duck Detective back to Android with the latest instalment Ghost Glamping. The mystery outing first arrived on PC last May. Just like its predecessor, this one lets you step into the shows of Eugene McQuacklin once again.
Duck Detective: Ghost Glamping drops Eugene McQuacklin back into work
McQuacklin’s life sees him sharing an apartment with Freddy Frederson. Freddy is friendly, well-meaning, and fashionably questionable. Hoping to cheer him up, Freddy drags the brooding detective to a glamping retreat in the woods.
In the campground, they experience a chain of mishaps and suspicious activities. But what he investigates is almost secondary to the personal baggage he drags behind him. His unresolved divorce and a bread habit that’s spiralled far beyond a snack preference continue to shape how he approaches cases.
Meanwhile, the campsite might be hosting ghosts. He also has to contend with a new partner he didn’t ask for. The reluctant pairing forms the backbone of the mystery as the two attempt to sift through clues and pick at whatever crumbs of justice they can find.
The game is comparatively shorter than the first one, as the adventure runs about 2 to 3 hours. With its cosy-mystery feel, it balances its supernatural hints with grounded character drama. All suspects are fully voiced, while the writing continues to poke gentle fun at noir tropes.

You interview suspects, inspect scenes with a magnifying glass, fill in missing pieces of text to form deductions, and tote evidence around in a notebook. In case you want to just glide through the mystery, there’s a story mode that softens the challenge.
