Back in January, Bluepoch Games announced about this upcoming exciting collab. Now, they’ve released more details on the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed crossover which is set to feature Ezio as a playable character.

Teaming up with Ubisoft, the crossover would focus on two of the most loved entries in the AC series: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. They dropped a teaser in January showing Vertin walking through a rainy street with the glowing Assassin’s Creed logo appears in the distance.

Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!

The full plan is finally out there. It will launch on Android, iOS and PC in August 2025. Apart from Ezio Auditore da Firenze, there are more things to look forward to in the Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed collab.

The crossover is split into two phases, each with its own batch of Assassin’s Creed-themed stories and events. Phase I is diving into Renaissance Florence. So, expect Vertin and her crew to be running around 15th-century Italy, following cryptic clues.

Phase II shifts gears and drops everyone into ancient Greece. Or more specifically, the world of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. If you’ve played the game, you’ll likely recognize some of the events Vertin and her team get caught up in.

Take a peek at the crossover trailer below!

It’s a Special Crossover

It’s a big step for Reverse: 1999, since the update will be the first time all servers around the world will be synced. So, everyone gets access to the event content at the same time.

Reverse: 1999 is a time travelling RPG which mixes modern and retro aesthetics. You play as Vertin, the Timekeeper who is immune to a strange phenomenon known as The Storm.

After the storms hit, entire eras seem to disappear. So, Vertin, along with her partner Sonetto, travel through different points in time and rescue other arcanists who are sensitive to the shifts.
