Bethesda Softworks has rolled out a new feature for Fallout Shelter, which is Seasons. And in the debut season, Fallout Shelter is getting Viva New Vegas. Yes, it’s the same one from the second season of the Amazon Prime Fallout TV series.

Viva New Vegas marks the debut of Fallout Shelter Seasons

Fallout Seasons is a new structure in the game that will bring limited-time events around separate, self-contained vaults. Each season operates independently from a player’s main vault. It offers a temporary environment that introduces new characters, locations, gear, and quests inspired by the latest season of the Fallout TV show.

Fallout Seasons is the largest update the game has received since its launch in 2015. It will launch experimental vaults that are safe, efficient, and only mildly hazardous. And of course, all of it accompanies exclusive rewards that keep Dwellers productive and satisfied.

Let’s head to Vegas!

The update sends you toward New Vegas and the surrounding Mojave region. Full of new challenges, rewards, and special events, it’s not an extension of an existing save.

Within Viva New Vegas, Vault-Tec’s focus is on Novac in Fallout Shelter. It’s a strategically important location for expanding influence across the Mojave. You’ll need to recruit loyal allies, take control of Novac, and reshape it into a functioning hub beneath the glow of New Vegas.

You also have to construct an experimental vault designed specifically for the season. As you progress, characters familiar from the TV show appear to deliver new quests and challenges. You’ll find Lucy, Maximus, and The Ghoul.

The season also introduces new mechanics that fit the Vegas theme. Lucky Spins, for instance, allow players to earn Poker Chips. You complete quests and occasionally find them as random loot during the missions.

You can then spend the Poker Chips to spin for rewards that speed up progress during the season. The reward pool spans both existing and newly added items such as weapons, outfits, and recipes. Head over to the Google Play Store and grab the game.
