FIFA has teamed up with Solace for a new soccer video game. FIFA Heroes is the title, which will be a fast-paced 5-a-side arcade football game. With a bit of fantasy, the game will bring mascots, legendary players, and even characters from some of the most recognisable TV shows and films onto the same pitch.

When will FIFA Heroes bring arcade football to mobile?

The game is scheduled to release in 2026. It will launch on Android, iOS, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox.

The idea behind FIFA Heroes is to mash football with a multiverse of favourites. You’ll get to assemble a dream squad that isn’t limited to real players.

FIFA’s own official mascots through the years are part of the lineup, alongside big names from entertainment and football’s own icons. That includes the brand-new faces of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Each host nation has its own character lined up. Maple from Canada, Zayu from Mexico, and Clutch from the United States. These three mascots will take the stage during the World Cup in June and July 2026.

The matches will be quick but heavy on physics-based gameplay, with exaggerated moves. There will be PvE modes, and it will let you chase career milestones for your custom club.
